PROJECT OVERVIEW

Discovery and research helped guide the creative work for the USC Office of Economic Engagement (OEE) project. Before any marketing and branding efforts could begin, we took a deep-dive into the competitive landscape to better understand which academic institutions were breaking the mold with corporate partnerships. This research led to the delivery of two reports, including a Market Review (assessing the competitive landscape) along with a Strategy Report (strategic analysis with a recommended value proposition for OEE).

Discovery of the competition and a new differentiated value proposition, led to the development of a consistent brand message, and new marketing materials. We had to maneuver through the strict university-wide brand guidelines to develop these materials. The designs are both consistent with USC’s overall brand identity, and unique to OEE in order to differentiate the office from competing universities.
